Version 2.4 (January 5, 2026)
- Now in the Options window (Advanced tab) it is possible to use up to 16 threads (the previous value was 4) for smoother panning.
- Added a Mouse sensitivity control in the Options window (General tab) to better control panning. This control is only available in Auto panning mode.
- Added two menu commands (and toolbar buttons) to open the previous or next image in the same folder. This can be useful for quickly checking many images.
- Now in the Options window (General tab) it is possible to define dafault values for yaw and pitch when opening images.
- Added a Set As Default button to the Tools/Set View Paramenters window. The button will set the current values as the default used for opening new images.
- Now the program can check for the availability of new versions from the web site. This features is enabled by default and can be disabled in the Options window (General tab) with the Check For Updates control.
Version 2.3 (October 1, 2024)
- Added a View/Grid menu to show a configurable grid over the underlying equirectangular image. The grid is configurable in the Options window and it can be useful to check a panoramic image after its creation.
Version 2.2 (March 10, 2024)
- Added support for grayscale jpeg and tiff images.
- Added an option to handle mouse panning like Google Street View: you drag the mouse and the image will follow. You need to activate this in the Options window.
Version 2.1 (October 20, 2015)
- Now the “shimmering” effect that can be noticed when panning slowly at a small (less than 50%) zoom factor has been greatly reduced.
- Added a Tools/Set View Parameters menu to manually set yaw, pitch and horizontal field of view.
- Added an option to show the current values of yaw and pitch in the status bar.
- Some bug fixes.
