RTMirror shows a small icon in the system notification
area, near the clock. You can double-click it to show the RTMirror
Control Panel window, where you set the application's options:

As you can see, the interface is very simple:
- You can specify one or more file extensions that will not be copied
by RTMirror. You can use it to avoid copying files that are not
useful, such as temporary files.
- You can exclude files bigger than a certain size.
- You can decide if RTMirror will delete files from the destination
folders when you delete them from the source folders.
- You can specify which folders will be mirrored.
With the menu commands you can:
- Start mirroring.
- Stop mirroring.
- Align the destination folders, to make sure that they contain
exactly the same files as the source folders.
- See the history of RTMirror's activity.
- See the errors that may have happened.
Once you have set the application's options you can close the window
and forget it. RTMirror will automatically start with the system and it
will keep copying files until shutdown.
The following window shows the history of RTMirror's activity:
The
green icon at the left means that the copy was successful. The yellow icon
means that the copy failed because the source file was locked by another
application. RTMirror automatically tried again later and the file was
successfully copied because the application was closed.
The lower part of the window shows the details of the selected line.
